What to Expect When Booking a Dewsall Wedding
Congratulations on your engagement!
We’d love to invite you to Dewsall Court to meet with one of our wonderful Event Managers and see the magic of Dewsall first hand, as soon as government guidelines allow. In the meantime, do read on for a flavour of what you can expect when you plan a wedding with us!
Stage 1: It’s all in the planning…
Love at First Sight
As soon as you make an enquiry, we will book an appointment for you to safely visit Dewsall and meet our Events team, as soon as COVID-19 restrictions allow. Alternativly, you can take a look at the Dewsall Court Virtual Tour. We would recommend attending your first viewing as a couple, and bringing along anyone else who’s opinion really matters to you.
If you love Dewsall as much as we do, we are able to provisionally hold your date for up to 14 days. To secure your date, we require a non-refundable deposit of 25% of the venue hire, followed by 25% 12 weeks later and the final 50% of the venue hire 12 weeks prior to your wedding date.
Once your booking is confirmed, you will be allocated a dedicated Event Manager and planning team who will guide you through the entire planning process right up to the day itself.
Attention to Detail
We love helping our couples plan exciting ways to make their day magical. Whether it’s the perfect floral displays, entertainment, menus or simply the perfect room layout. We will be able to give you a long list of our recommended suppliers, all of whom we have handpicked for their style, skill and professionalism.
A Taste of Dewsall
You will be invited to a special tasting event at Dewsall ahead of your wedding (COVID-19 permitting) where our team of in-house chefs will prepare a beautiful tasting spectacular for you. This will help you to choose your final wedding breakfast menu, and decide what drinks you’d like to serve.
The Final Touches
Once you have made your final menu choices, received your RSVPs and allocated your guests to bedrooms, we will arrange an appointment with your Event Manager to run through your wedding and your stay. This usually takes place around four weeks before the wedding day.
Stage 2: The Best Bit
Welcome to your Wedding
Celebrations start as soon as you arrive at Dewsall Court. Freshly baked cookies and shortbread will be served on arrival, and you will be enjoying a fully catered arrival dinner later that evening.
You and your guests will be welcomed by your own Event Manager before you have the chance to settle into your home from home, where you will be staying for either two or three nights.
Breakfast and lunch will be also be prepared for staying guests on the day of the wedding, and a goodbye breakfast on the day of departure too.
It’s all in Hand
Your wedding day is all about you! So whilst you are busy getting ready for the day ahead, our dedicated team will be working closely with your Event Manager to manage suppliers and deliveries, coordinate car parking, meet and greet guests, and provide them with directions and announcements. Our goal is to minimise stress and allow you to enjoy the pre-wedding preparations in your suite, with your family and friends.
