The recent arrival of Snowdrops signifies a very special change; peeping through hedgerows, lining our pathways and scattered across banks in the distance, they mark a new and delicious season. Spring is coming. And with this season of new beginnings arrives Easter and the longed-for Easter break too.
Easter is a time for family, food and the first foray into the great outdoors after a season of hibernation. Brisk country walks after long, laidback lunches, warm bright sun with the occasional burst of April rain and the warming scent of spiced hot-cross buns drifting through the house. Mmm, yes. Hold that thought. Now add in 19 of your favourite people (covid-dependant), a large 10 bedroom country home and acres and acres to explore… Welcome to Dewsall.
Enjoy a long-weekend and host the world’s most epic easter hunt within the grounds, or join us for some midweek merriment during the Easter holidays. You choose.
We’ll provide all the essentials, from toiletries and utility items to brimming baskets of logs and kitchen necessities to make self-catering easy. Although since it’s Easter and you deserve a treat, why not sit back, relax and let us take care of the catering. From the simplest of suppers to the most lavish of feasts, our in-house team of chefs will make your weekend that bit more special.
Most importantly, the clocks change at the end of March, gracing you with an extra hour to embrace spring and enjoy activities before the sun sets on another wonderful Dewsall day… (Did we mention the sunsets are amazing!?)
