An architectural gem, with its castle and medieval and Georgian buildings, Ludlow, in South Shropshire, is said to be one of the most attractive towns in England. Kilpeck church is home to the finest collection of Romanesque sculpture in England. It was built in about 1140 and has survived remarkably intact and unaltered to the present day.

The old market town of Ledbury
Ledbury in the east of the county, is one of England’s prime examples of an old market town, full of timber-framed buildings. The 17th century black & white Market House, which had originally served as a grain store dominates the town centre, and is supported on pillars of chestnut.
Goodrich stands majestically on a wooded hill commanding the passage of the River Wye into the picturesque valley of Symonds Yat.
